Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) mushrooms, renowned for their rich, savory flavor and distinctive umami, are more than just culinary delights. These mushrooms, characterised by their broad, brown caps and slightly curled edges, have been a cornerstone in traditional Eastern medicine for centuries.

Shiitake are celebrated for their synthesis of lentinan, polysaccharides, and a range of terpenes, which set them apart in the fungal kingdom. Our Shiitake mushrooms are organically cultivated in Victoria, ensuring a product that is 100% Australian, a rarity in the functional mushroom market.
